The Plot
Also known as "Lucy’s Day in Hell", "Kiss & Tell" is a romantic comedy satirizing the dating scene and Reality TV. This film goes behind the scenes of America's favorite television dating show. Four guys and four girls are on the most important blind date of their lives. Everything has been set in place to make this date unforgettable: airplanes, mansions, and limousines. To everyone else on the show, this is the chance to show their dating prowess on TV, except for Jim. For Jim, this is the chance to get a real date and to find a wife. He makes a romantic connection with a beautiful woman called Brenda, but they'll soon find out that on television, conflict sells better than romance. Brian, the "Kiss and Tell" director, knows so he'll intend to create all kinds of conflict on the show. "Kiss and Tell" also feature cameos by Dan Rather, Myke Tyson, James Brown or the late film reviewer Gene Siskel.
